Introducing XGT, a new 40V standalone system; with a new charging adapter to allow the new 40V XGT platform to use the DC40RA charger and DC40RB Twin Port Charger to charge both LXT slide type battery and the new XGT battery, in as little as 28 minutes. The XGT range of tools and batteries have a built-in program that provides digital communication between the battery and the tool, allowing for the battery not only to talk with the tool but also for the tool to talk to the battery. The HS009GZ is a 235mm diameter Circular Saw, powered by 40V Max XGT Li-ion slide type battery (not included) to supply energy to the powerful 40V Max brushless motor, with soft start for smooth start-ups and constant speed control to automatically apply additional power to the motor to maintain constant speed under load, to deliver up to 1,600 watt maximum output and 4,000 rpm for efficient cutting and equal delivery to or higher power than that of our corded models. The HS009GZ is equipped with a lightweight magnesium diecast base, compatible with a guide rail (199141-8 sold separately) without an adapter for precision cutting, electric brake for increased operator safety, LED job light with pre-glow and after-glow to illuminate the work area and anti-restart function. The HS009GZ features a rotating built-in dust nozzle, auto-start wireless system (AWS) to automatically connect to a compatible dust extractor with Bluetooth; Chip 198900-7 required, sold separately and battery protection circuit designed to protect the battery from damages due to overheating, over-discharge and overload current. 1 year manufacturer warranty with a further 2 years when registered within 30 days of purchase. This guarantee does not apply where non-genuine or recommended parts or accessories are fitted to the tool. The use of non-genuine or compatible batteries and chargers with Makita tools will invalidate the Makita guarantee for our tools.
